These dudes had a hit back in 1990 or so, it was called You Can't Buy My Love. The song was pretty tight but the rap in it sucked. The rest of the record was way better.
This is Make up Your Mind by Kool Skool, it has kind of a Bel Biv Devoe feel to it

I found this on You Tube about a year ago
and it still blows my mind every time I watch it.
Everybody is talking about gear but this
dude will blow you up with a Yamaha PSR-640.
This is DJ Melucho from Macuspana,México.
I'm about to try and find him and see if he could
hook up a remix... I'm so serious.

The homie Matt Masocco came up to me one day
at work and was like you have to listen to this.
The next couple of minutes changed my life
and I hope they will change yours. One of the
coldest bass lines ever for starters. The group
is The Style Council. It was one of Paul Wellers
projects after The Jam. This was released on 12''
in 1983 by Polygram records. The name of the
song is Long Hot Summer

I remember watching the video to this
back in the day. It was like the ultimate
posse cut to me cause it features Heavy D,
Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, Q-Tip, Grand Puba,
C.L. Smooth, and Pete Rock on the beat. He
spits a verse too. Peaceful Journey was the name
of the album it was released by Uptown records
in 1991. The name of the song is Don't Curse

Jean Michel Jarre is French. He loves synthesizers.
His outdoor concerts have lasers and fireworks.
He is in the Guiness Book of World Records.
He made an album that had a run of one copy.
He worked with NASA in the 80's to have the
saxophone part in one of his songs played by
an astronaut and recorded in space. The Challenger
space shuttle unfortunately blew up in 86
and that saxophone was never recorded. This is
a song from that album titled Rendez-Vous VI.
The name of the song is Moon Machine

Look at this dude posted up on a beach hut strumming that acoustic! I guess that's how you get to live when you're the dude that wrote the Ghostbuster's theme.
This is Get Down by Ray Parker Jr.'s funk band Raydio.

I don't really mess with outdoor gatherings
but if I did I would want hear songs like
this. Here go the video to Ditty by Paperboy.
A West Coast Summer Jam to the fullest.
I would have had the whole video
go down at a carwash or a drive thru.
